Wave Game – Vicar Simon Eldfeldt’s first case

The married couple Johanna Limme and Martin Palmqvist publish the first titel in a series about a charming and bro-oding vicar, Simon Eldfeldt. He solves mysteries in the port town Karlshamn in the southeast of Sweden in the last decade of the 19th century. Not always a belle époque.

Simon Eldfeldt is too fat, a never ending struggle for him, as is trying to love his very young, second wife, who is beautiful but unfaithful. A dead child, with the number 13 written on its head is found in a dark street by a drunk man on his way home from the pub. It is the second victim found within a short time, and the town’s mayor is getting very nervous. The Swedish king, Oscar II,  is coming to visit the town, so there must be no trouble. Vicar Eldfeldt is called in to help. At the same time a Norweigan woman leaves her home. She has a mission, a mission she got after a man saw her shoot a wolf at a distance of 200 meters.
