I Walk Across the Frozen Grass

(Jag går över det frusna gräset)

The young woman Saga comes to live with a vicar and his wife after many years at a mental hospital. The vicar's wife, Inger, has prepared a room for her in the basement that is to become her new home. Saga is not quite like other people. Perhaps that is why she becomes Inger's confidante. She is the only one who gets to know the truth about what's really going on at the vicarage.

Saga gets a notebook from Inger. In the notebook she writes down memories from her life. Slowly, the portrait of a young woman with a painful past emerges.
