Karin Brunk Holmqvist was born in Simrishamn 1944, but lives in Tomelilla since 46 years, as long as she has been married to her husband Sjunne. As a child she dreamed about to be a circusprincess or journalist, and made her father company when he performed as a magician. Already at ten she became the magician and he her assistance. At rare occasion Karin surprises her readers to make a small tricks. At seventeen she started to work as a mannequin. She met Sjunne at a ball in Smedstorp when she was 18, and they have two children. Since then has Karin been interested in social question, as work and in spare time.
